Adjuntas Digitized Church Records 1812 – 1952

The municipality of Adjuntas is north of Yauco and was established in 1815.  The municipality exists off a mountainside.  The area is known for its cooler temperatures and was once part of the Coamo.  The church for this municipality when it was established is San Joaquin.  Most of the baptism books have indexes either in the front or the back of the book. The baptism records are complete. I was surprised to not see books for freed blacks or those held in slavery.  The digitized church records are as follows:

Book of Baptisms from 1815 thru 1921

Books of Marriages 1815 – 1921

Books of Confirmations 1829 – 1923

Book of Deaths

As a reminder that the image number provided is where the book begins.  So if I state that it begins with image number 1235 and there is an index that states you can find the record on folio (page) 100, then you simply add 100 to 1235 which gives you 1335 and you enter that image number in the box. Hopefully, it will jump close to folio 100 or somewhere near.  It is a fast way of jumping around the books since they are located online. The following are the breakdown of the records.
