Jayuya Church Records

It has been some time since I have posted and have been working on Guayama when I have free time. However, it will take me a little longer to complete as I have been helping quite a few DNA cousins find family. In the meantime, I went through Jayuya’s church records which didn’t take long.

Jayuya, which is located in a mountainous area of Puerto Rico, may be small but there is a church, Nuestra Señora de Monserrat, and there are records available for those researching the region. Found in the central region of the island, it is not far from Utuado. For the most part, records are legible but also there are indexes available with many of the books.
