Many people have never heard of the ABC islands but may recognize it if I were to say ABC Islands – Aruba – Bonaire – Curaçao Genealogy. Hence why I labeled the page as such. Additionally, these islands were inhabited and controlled by the Netherlands. Therefore, creating the necessity that researchers will need the ability to read text in the Dutch language. While I do not have much on these islands, I thought that adding a page dedicated to these islands would benefit those who have Dutch ancestry in the Caribbean.
Hence, there are digitized records available which I will share in separate posts and provide the links here. Finally, as with all other regions I cover, I will post links to other islands below if I believe it will be beneficial in researching. The idea is to read up as much as possible so that the next step is not difficult.
